Kia ora and kumusta! At the heart of TAYO is a deep love for celebrating and honouring the moments that bring us together.

“Tayo” means “we” or “us” in Tagalog, and that feeling of togetherness sits at the heart of everything I make. It’s a gentle reminder that we’re part of each other’s stories, and that often, it’s the smallest gestures that leave the most lasting impressions.

From my Christchurch studio, I craft embroidered keepsakes and small batch goods designed to hold memories close, from big milestones to everyday moments worth remembering.

TAYO is also a heartfelt tribute to my late grandmothers, Lola Angie and Lola Ops, who were both incredibly talented seamstresses. Their love for making beautiful things continues to inspire me every day.
